The United Republic of Tanzania

Tanzania is a country in East Africa in the African Great Lakes region. It is bordered by Kenya and Uganda to the north; Rwanda, Burundi and the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the west; and Zambia, Malawi and Mozambique to the south. Dodoma is the national capital of Tanzania[2] and the capital of Dodoma Region, with a population of 410,956. The city hosts the Jamhuri Stadium and the House of Parliament of Tanzania.

Swahili and English are the official languages of Tanzania. However, the former is the national language. Swahili belongs to the Bantu branch of the Niger-Congo family.] English is still the language of higher courts. It can, however, be considered a de facto official language.
